At TimeTwisters, HEALTH means two things: Exercise and healthy eating.
An hour or two of play at TimeTwisters is probably the most fun your children can have while getting a really good "cardiovascular" workout. Okay, they'll think of it as more like fun than exercise, but the effect is still the same - it raises the heart-rate, exercises the lungs and is good for their bodies. These days, with the media full of stories of childhood obesity, a regular TimeTwisters "workout" is the best (and certainly the most fun) way to stay fit.
When it comes to food, TimeTwisters aims to produce a range of snacks and meals that are fun and funky as well as tasty and healthy. Don't worry, we're not going to force nut cutlets and tofu on you (who wants to eat that stuff anyway!), but we will ensure that our food is made with fresh ingredients, is freshly prepared in our on-site kitchen, and is cooked in a healthy way to maintain its goodness. For instance, we offer healthier versions of "traditional" children's food (our chicken strips, for example, are made with fresh pieces of prime chicken breast coated in our own unique breadcrumb coating).
Our comprehensive menu contains a wide range of meal choices and is sure to have something you'll like. In fact, with such a wide range of meals the difficulty will in deciding what to choose! What you won't find at TimeTwisters are loads of sweets and confectionary - and we don’t apologise for that! We feel that kids get loads of opportunities for sweets, so we have a very limited selection that don’t have any additives or "questionable" ingredients
